The sparkling wine matures for 5 years in Minas da Recheira, 100 meters below ground, ensuring a stable environment with minimal humidity and temperature fluctuations. The name "Exilado" draws inspiration from Almeida Garrett's poem "Os Exilados", symbolizing both the wine's exile in the mines during maturation and the exile of the Almeida Garrett family to France in 1910 following the fall of the Portuguese monarchy. This thematic concept is reflected in the label design, featuring a deliberate separation of the two frontal elements and a chromatic choice that reinforces the wine's unique identity. Selected verses from the poem are subtly incorporated into the label using print finishes that enhance tactile sensations, reflecting the exceptional quality of this product.
