Susana Bettencourt, a Portuguese fashion designer specializing in knitwear, crafts her pieces from yarn to the final product. The brand's primary objective is to harmonize new technology and digital elements with traditional craftsmanship. Renowned for impeccable jacquards featuring exclusive prints and handcrafted pieces of extravagant dimensions, Bettencourt's work is rooted in material appreciation, embodying the principles of slow fashion and sustainability. Collaborating closely with the brand, the inspiration for the redesigned visual identity draws from the distinctive design of the knitted pieces' ends. This, combined with typographical elements, achieves a minimal yet contemporary aesthetic. Opting for a black and white palette allows the pieces to take center stage, with only subtle fluor yellow accents serving as secondary highlights.
